Prosus N.V., headquartered in Amsterdam, Netherlands, is a global consumer internet group and one of the largest technology investors in the world. Formed in 2019 as a spin-off from South African multinational Naspers, Prosus operates and invests in markets with long-term growth potential, focusing on sectors such as online classifieds, food delivery, payments and fintech, and education technology.

A Diverse and Expanding Portfolio

Prosus’s portfolio encompasses more than 80 investments across over 100 markets. Notable holdings include a significant stake in Tencent, China’s largest internet company, as well as investments in companies like OLX (classifieds), PayU (payments), iFood and Delivery Hero (food delivery), and Stack Overflow (edtech).

In February 2025, Prosus agreed to acquire Just Eat Takeaway.com for €4.1 billion, aiming to establish a leading European food delivery platform.
