My name is Filippo Sole and I have a passion for classic vehicles and lifestyle. The restoration of the Lancia Dilambda Cabriolet Carlton “Blue Shadow” required the collaboration of countless professionals. Here is a sketch study of part of the interior by Fabrizio Buonamassa Stigliani.

HISTORY, STUDY & FIELD RESEARCH
Each project starts with in-depth research related to the historical model of the car. This process is fundamental to collect important information related to the details of every single component of the car and to know the history of the car manufacturer. The research is done by travelling, visiting museums and archives and participating in trade fairs and events where you can meet other experts in the field.
FINEST ITALIAN ARTISANS
The whole process of restoration and reconstruction is possible thanks to the collaboration with fine craftsmen scattered throughout Italy. Each component needs a different kind of specialized craftsman and thanks to my direct knowledge with mechanical workshops I can take your car to the right place for the necessary work.
ORIGINAL PARTS FINDING & DESIGN
The restoration of a classic car can involve two types of interventions: the recovery and restoration of original parts such as the bodywork and chassis. And the design of often unobtainable components such as the dashboard, upholstery and all the other details that make a car unique. For the realisation of these parts, I follow in detail the original drawings and archive photographs.
HAUTE COUTURE COLLABORATIONS
To add a level of creativity and value to the vehicle, there is the interesting possibility to give it a unique identity thanks to the collaboration with fine brands that can develop custom designs for certain parts of the vehicle. For example, I have collaborated with fashion maisons to develop upholstery design for the cars interiors.
